JOB SUMMARY

The assistant Professor in Mechatronics will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Mechatronics and conducting research in the field of Mechatronics.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  1. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including but not limited to topics such as robotics, Mechatronics, linear control systems lab….
  2. Conduct research in the field of Mechatronics.
  3. Mentor undergraduate FYP students and supervise graduate thesis in Mechatronics.
  4. Participate in departmental and university service activities, including but not limited to committee work, curriculum development, and student recruitment.
  5. Collaborate with industry partners to develop and implement projects and initiatives related to thermal and fluid sciences with emphasis on interaction between fluid and solid.


EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

  1. PhD in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Mechatronics.
  2. Experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Mechatronics.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
