JOB SUMMARY

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality undergraduate and graduate courses, adhering to USEK’s standards for excellence in teaching.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

1. Designing and teaching courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
2. Maintaining high standards of teaching excellence as established by USEK.
3. Supervising and guiding students in their research and master’s theses.
4. Engaging in scholarly research and/or creative activities within the discipline.
5. Providing academic and career advising, mentoring, and coaching to students.
6. Maintaining course portfolio documents for program review and accreditation processes.
7. Collaborating effectively with colleagues across the university, fostering a cooperative and open-minded work environment.
8. Participating in ongoing professional development activities to enhance instructional and professional skills.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

1. PhD degree in the relevant field of study.
2. Proficiency in oral and written communication in English.
3. Proven teaching experience at the higher education level with English as the medium of instruction.
4. A track record of international scientific publications in the relevant area of expertise.
5. Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that supports diversity and equity.
6. Proficient in integrating technology in the classroom and capable of teaching online courses.
7. Experienced in providing comprehensive academic and career advice to a diverse student population.
