JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Corporate Relations Officer is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding strategic partnerships with corporate, governmental, and institutional stakeholders to support USEK’s mission and strategic objectives. The role serves as a key liaison between USEK and external partners, identifying collaboration opportunities, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and fostering long-term relationships that enhance USEK’s impact, visibility, and industry connectivity.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Develops and maintains strategic relationships with corporate, governmental, and institutional partners.
- Identifies and pursues opportunities for collaboration in areas, such as executive education, internships, research, innovation, industry engagement, and community initiatives.
- Coordinates the development, implementation, and follow-up of partnership agreements, memoranda of understanding (Moues), and collaborative projects with USEK’s academic and administrative units.
- Serves as the point of contact for assigned partners and ensures effective relationship management and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Represents USEK at meetings, conferences, networking events, and external engagements.
- Collaborates with academic and administrative units to identify partnership opportunities and facilitate cross-functional initiatives.
- Monitors partnership activities, prepares reports, and maintains accurate records of engagements and outcomes.
- Contributes to the development and execution of USEK’s corporate relations strategy and annual objectives.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Proven track record in developing and managing strategic partnerships.
- Knowledge of partnership development, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management principles.
- Understanding of higher education environments and university-industry collaboration models is a plus.
- Familiarity with corporate, governmental, and institutional ecosystems in Lebanon and the region.
- Knowledge of project coordination, event management, and partnership reporting practices.
- Understanding of business etiquette and professional protocol when engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Strategic partnership development and account management.
- Experience in business writing, proposal preparation, and report writing.
- Project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Presentation and public speaking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AI tools and CRM/database management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 5 years+ of progressively responsible experience in corporate relations, partnership development, business development, external affairs, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience within higher education, professional services, or corporate environments is preferred.
